Hope Dealers BTC (#Be the Change, Addiction Awareness Support and Recovery Radio)

Hope Dealers BTC (#Be the Change, Addiction Awareness Support and Recovery Radio), was founded in early 2017, by Stephanie Lynn Forrester, after the sudden passing of her husband, Justin. Justin’s sudden passing from an overdose, came on the heals of her own 100 days of sobriety. The day after Justin’s passing, in his honor, Stephanie Lynn Forrester, began her mission as a community activist, by raising awareness of the rising opioid epidemic by cleaning up the tossed away syringes in her community. Since then, her mission and volunteer army has grown to tackle some of Rochester’s greatest social issues. Stephanie Lynn Forrester, and a group of committed volunteers, head out every Sunday to make an impact on the community, and those struggling with addiction. The group has boarded up countless abandoned houses, picked up 10,295 needles, handed out 818 lunches, distributed 10 sheet pizzas, assisted 25 people into recovery, and distributed an abundance of clothing, bedding, and personal care items to those in need.
